Caesar, The Age of Gladius presents itself as an adventure game set during the Flavian era, a period marked by the widespread popularity of gladiatorial combat. Players assume the role of Vassus, an ordinary man enslaved by the Roman Empire. A compelling comic-style narrative chronicles Vassus’s life in Rome during his days as a gladiator and slave—highlighting joys, hardships, dangers, and riddles that accompany him from one 2D combat to another.

Throughout the journey, interactive questions serve as educational interludes, imparting various aspects of Roman culture during the gladiatorial period.
